For years, I was waiting.
Waiting for the right time to start that project, change my job, say what I really felt, or just make a move.
I told myself things like:
“I’ll start when I’m more prepared.”
“When life isn’t so crazy.”
“When everything finally falls into place.”
Sound familiar?
Spoiler alert: The “right time” doesn’t exist.
It’s a sneaky excuse.
A comfortable lie.
A trap disguised as patience.
Because here’s the truth:
Life never pauses.
There’s never a perfect moment.
The chaos, the noise, the “not quite ready” feelings? They don’t go away.
Waiting?
I thought it was protecting me. But really — it was holding me prisoner.
I was scared. Scared of failing, scared of looking foolish, scared of starting something imperfect.
I thought if I just waited long enough, I’d magically become fearless, brilliant, and perfect.
Spoiler: That never happened.
Then one day, I snapped out of it.
I said, “Enough waiting. I’m starting now.”
Not next week.
Not next month.
Now.
And honestly? It was messy. It was scary.
I stumbled, I fumbled, I made mistakes. But I also learned, grew, and most importantly — I moved forward.
Here’s what I learned:
“Now” is way more powerful than “right time.”
Because starting now means:
You give yourself permission to be imperfect
You learn as you go, not before you begin
You reclaim your power from fear and hesitation
You stop wasting time waiting for a moment that might never come
So if you’re stuck waiting for your “right time,”
Stop.
Take one small step today — no matter how messy or scary it feels.
Because the only moment guaranteed to you is this one.
And that? That’s enough.
